ABOUT ME

I believe therapy offers opportunity for self discovery, healing, and growth. As an emphatic and supportive therapist, I am passionate about helping my clients heal and be heard because we all have unique voices and stories to share.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, parents, and families to minimize conflict, support personal growth, make changes, and strengthen a sense of connectedness and well-being.
Using an integrative approach that is holistic and friendly, I support personal and relational development, as well as healing. I attend to my clients’ difficulties, needs, and wishes by providing a compassionate environment in which to explore unresolved trauma, reduce anxiety  and stress, improve communication and relationships, and develop new skills.
I have 6 years of specialized experience working with children and adolescents in public and private schools as well as community settings. Because of this experience, I understand the unique challenges that both children and parents face in today’s world and how these challenges may affect family dynamics. With children, I believe communicating through play and meeting them on their level is vital in establishing a warm and nurturing environment, where they feel safe and free to express themselves through art and play. 
I am a certified premarital counselor and I enjoy working with couples who are looking to strengthen and grow in their relationship. 
My demeanor has been described as warm, attentive, and calming, where my clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and stories.
